Da: Solen skinnede højt over København, og temperaturen steg.
En: The sun shone high over København, and the temperature rose.
Da: Folk strømmede til Den Lille Havfrues Lagune, et populært sted for glad sommerbadning.
En: People flocked to Den Lille Havfrues Lagune, a popular spot for joyful summer swimming.
Da: Børn plaskede rundt i det blå vand, mens voksne slappede af på farverige håndklæder langs kanten.
En: Children splashed around in the blue water, while adults relaxed on colorful towels along the edge.
Da: Langs lagunen duftede der af friske vafler fra en isbod i nærheden.
En: Along the lagoon, there was the scent of fresh waffles from a nearby ice cream stand.
