Week two of Auburn Football fall camp is underway, and there is something noticeably different about the Tigers under head coach Alex Golesh. From the organization of practice to the intensity of the coaching staff, Auburn looks like a team operating with a completely different process heading into the 2026 college football season. One of the biggest stories continues to be quarterback Byrum Brown. Auburn’s season could rise or fall based on how well Brown plays, especially with the Tigers opening against Baylor in Atlanta on September 5. The encouraging news from fall camp is that Brown appears to be rounding into form. His accuracy has looked sharp, his deep ball has been impressive, and Auburn is emphasizing touch, ball placement and layering throws during practice. Auburn’s official roster lists Brown as a senior quarterback after transferring from USF.
