The Parshah section examines difficult court cases and the command to seek higher judicial authority when justice is unclear. Rabbi Rubenstein highlights Rashi’s understanding of being separated from justice, emphasizing that fair judgment reconnects society with justice.

The Rambam section begins Hilchot Tefillah, explaining eight important considerations for prayer. Standing is preferred, but circumstances such as illness, hunger, thirst, travel, or difficulty concentrating may justify praying while seated.

The Sefer Aggadah section explores the wisdom of focusing on creation and the commandments rather than matters beyond human reach. It teaches that inquiry should not demean God’s creation, while also suggesting that knowledge can be valuable when it deepens our appreciation of the world.
