En: Many people had gathered in the park.
Ja: 空には明るい夏の日差しが差し込み、桜の木が薄紅色の花びらを揺らしていました。
En: The bright summer sunshine poured down from the sky, and the sakura trees shook their light pink petals.
Ja: 今日は特別な日です。
En: Today was a special day.
Ja: お盆の祭りで、たくさんの灯篭が飾られ、公園は賑やかでした。
En: It was the Obon festival, with many lanterns decorated all around, and the park was lively.
