08-10-26 YMS HR3 Obama - El-Sayed connection, sounds of the day and 30 years late, the Tupac trial.
Description
Abdul El-Sayed told Meet the Press’s Kristin Welker he had a “warm” and “inspiring” conversation with former President Obama after defeating Rep. Haley Stevens (D-Mich.) in the Democratic primary. He hopes Obama will publicly campaign for him. Republican consultant Chris Walker joins us to discuss whether Obama is getting involved — and why.
Always revealing and often entertaining, it’s The Sounds of The Day!
It has been 30 years since rapper Tupac Shakur was killed in Las Vegas, and on Monday jury selection will begin for the man accused of orchestrating the drive-by shooting. National Correspondent RORY O’NEILL will have the story of the murder trial that starts decades after the hip-hop artist was killed in 1996.
