Chelsea with Gary Mantle | Correspondent Week ep. 3 | Planet FPL 2026/27
Description
On Episode 3 of Correspondent Week James is joined by Chelsea fan Gary Mantle to discuss what we can expect from the start of the Xabi Alonso era.
That start involves a promising first 2, followed by a trip to Arsenal, but then a home encounter against Hull when Bruno Fernandes and Erling Haaland face each other.
So who will be the go to Chelsea assets? Joao Pedro is highly owned, Morgan Rogers has arrived and Cole Palmer is the most expensive. There's also big coverage of all three, plus how other new signings Maxence Lacroix and Marco Palestra, why the club has bought Jordan Henderson and Danny Welbeck and lots more on a bloated squad, which could end up playing more than one formation.
Next on Correspondent Week: ep. 4 with Alex Trembath on Manchester United Tomorrow on Planet FPL: Correspondent Week episodes 5-8 with Lewis James on Fulham, Ed Salinger on Leeds, Danny Macdonald on Hull and Lee Jackson on Aston Villa
