Sometimes we dismiss people because of who we think they are.
When a Canaanite woman came asking Jesus for help, the disciples said,
“Send her away, for she keeps shouting after us.” — from Matthew 15:23
But when they took the time to listen, they discovered someone very different from the person they thought they knew.
A person of determination. A person of goodwill. A person of great faith.
It’s amazing what we discover about each other when we take the time to listen.
