Description
On this part 2, following up on a July episode of the show, Ryan and cohost Jack sit down to expand on their discussion of military propaganda and war. Is questioning the justifications for endless wars, not blindly supporting troops, and pointing out the exploitation of the dead really worse than selling weapons to the stated enemy, lying about WMDs or denying a country's capabilities, sending soldiers to die for no good cause, taking away military benefits, denying medical care, etc.? Is it worse than the Pentagon removing the names of dead soldiers from the Iran death counter after initially exploiting their deaths? Are those people even real? With Washington federalizing draft registration and the Selective Service System asking vendors to create computer simulations for a draft, is one being prepared for the war in Iran?

The show overview includes discussions on:

Has the Pentagon really been asking AI how “to create a war”?

The US has finally acknowledged we have depleted our long range missile capabilities and interceptors systems. Is over engineering or greed responsible for the fact that Iran uses $20,000 missiles while the US uses $2-million dollar ones.

Why does the public get more concerned over animal abuse than double-tapping schools in Iran or dropping 2,000 pound bombs on civilian homes?

Gen. Alexus Grynkewich, the head of U.S. European Command, sent written notification to senior Pentagon officials saying that without another Navy destroyer he will be forced to choose defense of the United States “homeland” over that of Israel. Doesn’t that mean we were already prioritizing Israel over the homeland?

Why has the first reaction of many soldiers to trauma historically involved raping women and killing children - an attempt to feel in control? But what about drone operators, pilots, and helicopter gunners who happily murder without trauma?

Soldiers can disobey illegal orders but of course there are consequences. Look at what was done to Bradley Manning, or in other cases Julian Assange, Edward Snowden, and John Kiriakou.

The explosion of the US Constitution (Article I, Section 8) and the abuse of the War Powers Resolution.
