Coventry City have agreed a fee with Sheffield United to re-sign the midfielder Gustavo Hamer, reported at six million pounds and struck on Saturday evening at the third attempt. Asked after his side's EFL Cup win at Mansfield whether he expected the deal done within days, the Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder said he did, one hundred per cent, and that his club had to move on. Hamer was absent from that United squad. As of Sunday night neither club had announced anything, so he is not a Coventry player yet, and Danny Hall at the Sheffield Star reports that official confirmation is expected soon.
