In this episode of the Tafseer series, Shaykh Dr Aḥsan Hanif explains Surah Al-Anbiyāʾ (21:83–90), where Allah ﷻ highlights the patience and sincere supplications of His Prophets. Prophet Ayyūb (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) called upon Allah while enduring hardship, Prophet Yūnus (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) called upon Him in the depths of darkness, and Prophet Zakariyyā (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) placed his hope in Allah’s mercy. Allah ﷻ responded to their calls, removed their difficulties, and blessed them with His mercy. These verses remind us that Allah hears the prayers of His servants, that patience is never wasted, and that true believers turn to Him in every situation.
