En: The Ljubljansko barje is a magical place, full of mysteries and natural beauty.
Sl: Poleti se njegova raznolika pokrajina, s prepredenimi mokrišči in gozdnimi zaplatami, odene v plašč goste megle.
En: In the summer, its diverse landscape, intertwined with wetlands and patches of forest, is cloaked in a shroud of dense fog.
Sl: Tistega poletnega dne, ko se je približeval praznik Marijinega vnebovzetja, so odmevale zgodbice o izgubljenem raziskovalcu.
En: On that summer day, as the holiday of the Assumption of Mary was approaching, stories echoed of the lost explorer.

Sl: Jana, Matevževa praktična in učinkovita sodelavka, je stala ob njem.

En: The wet grass rustled under his feet, birds chirped their summer melody, but the fog was too thick.
Sl: Ohranjal je mirno glavo, vedoč, da mora slediti instinktu.
En: He kept a calm head, knowing he had to follow his instinct.
Sl: Potke so bile zavajajoče in pogosto zavite.
En: The paths were misleading and often twisted.
Sl: Toda Matevž je naposled zaslišal slaboten klic na pomoč.
En: But Matevž eventually heard a faint call for help.
Sl: Tam, sredi gostega trstičja, se je zmedeni in dehidrirani Blaž trudil vstati.
En: There, in the middle of the dense reeds, a confused and dehydrated Blaž was struggling to stand.
