CM Punk and Kevin owens didn't hold back in their first official Face to Face on Friday Night SmackDown, and it was a great first step forward, heading towards their WWE Championship match. 

Kevin Owens won the right to face CM Punk for the WWE Championship after returning at SummerSlam, after being away for 18 months with a neck injury, and tonight it was the first time he had words for CM Punk since Punk returned to the WWE. Also, Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton continue their feud for the first time since WrestleMania, after Orton cost Cody Rhodes the WWE Championship at SummerSlam against CM Punk. 

Baron Corbin once again defend the WWE United States Championship against Trick Williams, and Tatum Paxley finally makes her Main Roster debut as Charlotte Flair battles Jade Cargill in the Main Event in a first time ever singles match.
