Story Transcript:
Cy: Mae'r haul haf yn tywynnu dros Dinas Caerdydd, a Phas golau melyn ar lawr yr hen Farchnad Ganolog.
En: The summer sun is shining over the Dinas Caerdydd, and a golden yellow glow rests on the floor of the old Farchnad Ganolog.
Cy: Mae'r lle yn fyw a phrysur, gyda sŵn pobl yn trafod a lleisiau'n cymryd tro i ffarwelio wrth ddrws y lety bysiau gerllaw.
En: The place is alive and bustling, with the sound of people discussing and voices taking turns to bid farewell at the door of the nearby bus depot.
Cy: Ar hyn o bryd, mae Rhys, Carys, a Gwyneth yn cerdded ger y stondinau, llygaid Rhys yn llonaid o fwriad cuddiedig alluogi unwaith eto cysylltiad teuluol sydd wedi hen wanychau dros amser.
En: At this moment, Rhys, Carys, and Gwyneth are walking by the stalls, Rhys' eyes filled with a hidden intention to once again enable a family connection that has long faded over time.
Cy: "Rydyn ni'n mynd i wneud chwiliad gorynydd," dywed Rhys mewn llais sy'n ceisio disgleirio gyda bai newydd.
En: "We're going to do a treasure hunt," says Rhys in a voice attempting to shine with new determination.
Cy: Mae'r dwy chwaer yn edrych ar ei gilydd, ychydig yn betruso ond hefyd gyda diddordeb.
En: The two sisters look at each other, a little hesitant but also interested.
Cy: Mae Rhys, er ei fod yn cynnal delwedd o drefn a rheolaeth, yn teimlo'r wasgfa wrth ysgwyddau ei dad â'r gorchymyn sylfaen.
En: Rhys, although maintaining an image of order and control, feels the pressure at his father's shoulders with the fundamental command.
Cy: Yn syml y mae'r gêm: rhaid canfod ambell i eitem a safle sy'n gysylltiedig â’u plentyndod.
En: The game is simple: they must find certain items and locations linked to their childhood.
Cy: Mae maes y farchnad yn frith â chofion: y stondin ffrwythau lle roeddent yn prynu afalau i'w bwyta'n swllt; y siop fara lle'r oeddent bob amser yn cael eiclairs.
En: The market field is dotted with memories: the fruit stall where they used to buy apples to eat; the bakery where they always got eclairs.
Cy: Mae Carys yn cyffroi, ei meddwl eisoes wedi arnofio rhwng pob synnwr, a chithau'n gwybod mwy na byd am yr angen am ddianc i'r anturiaethau ar draws y ddaear gymharol brysur.
En: Carys is excited, her mind already drifting among every sensation, and knowing more than anything else about the need to escape to adventures across the relatively busy land.
Cy: Ond mae Gwyneth yn aros yn bwyllog, ychydig allan o'i dyfnder gan nad yw wedi gwyntysu ers amser maith.
En: But Gwyneth remains calm, slightly out of her depth as she hasn't ventured out for quite some time.
Cy: Wrth i'r chwiliad fynd rhagddo, mae ysgafngariad troed Rhys yn achosi iddo lwchu braidd.
En: As the hunt progresses, Rhys' lighthearted footsteps cause him to stumble a bit.
Cy: Yn sydyn, ger siop y cigydd lle chwaraeont 'dad' a 'mam' rhyw ddegawd yn ôl, daw i'r amlwg tensiwn sydd wedi bod yn troi ers rhai misoedd.
En: Suddenly, near the butcher shop where they played 'dad' and 'mom' about a decade ago, tension that's been brewing for some months comes to the fore.
Cy: Ryw sylw camarweiniol, ac yn sydyn mae'r adderyn mewn hirach yn cymylu'r haul.
En: A misleading comment, and suddenly the long bird clouds the sun.
Cy: "Pam na ddywedaist ti wrtha i ynglŷn â hynny?" mae Gwyneth yn gofyn, ei llais yn ddistaw ond yn aernas.
En: "Why didn't you tell me about that?" asks Gwyneth, her voice
