Description
On Aug. 7, 1930, a white mob lynched Thomas Shipp and Abram Smith in Marion, Indiana, while 16-year-old James Cameron survived a near-lynching. Cameron later devoted much of his life to civil rights activism and founded America's Black Holocaust Museum.
