Imagine Being this Weak and Subservient to Donald Trump
Description
Then there are the nominees. Hawk turns to Senate Judiciary confirmation hearings, where Cory Booker and Richard Blumenthal keep asking a question none of them will touch: who won the 2020 election.
There is a legal wrinkle worth noting. The question as phrased lets a witness pivot to the Electoral College and the congressional certification. Asking who won the popular vote in 2020 would close that door and pin them down.
Two of the four nominees in this hearing are headed for federal judgeships. One already holds an Article III lifetime appointment and is up for the Court of Appeals, meaning Trump has no leverage over him at all. He still would not say it.
These answers are on video permanently. Hawk hopes they follow these men for the rest of their careers.
