A 12-year-old boy was airlifted to a Melbourne hospital with serious injuries after allegedly being hit by a ute driven through a pedestrian mall in Mildura. The 57-year-old driver, Andrew Brien, has been charged with four offences and will face court. Unconfirmed reports suggest the incident may have been an act of vigilante justice after the driver allegedly saw children on CCTV breaking into his wife's real estate business.
