The NBA's era of parity is here. And almost every team can talk itself into a path to a championship, if not this year, then very soon. That was one of the main selling points of the league's apron system.

The Orlando Magic certainly believe they have a path to a championship. That is one of the reasons the upcoming season is so exciting and this team still has potential to believe in.

But the Magic are also facing pressure to win immediately. If they are not able to make good on that potential, then the team will face some harsh truths. But that is also how the league designed its rules.

There is a lot of opportunity and more teams have chances to win the title now. But the window and chances to win are still very narrow.
