Weaving Filipino American Stories in Indiana | Indianapolis News
Description
Celebrate Filipino American heritage in Indiana with “LAHI: Weaving Filipino American Stories in Indiana,” a new art show at the Harrison Center’s Speck Gallery running October 2–29. Open to artists who capture themes of identity, family, immigration, and cultural fusion, this exhibit honors Indiana’s vibrant Filipino community—rooted in Marion County since the Barangay Club’s founding in 1960. Submit up to three saleable, age-appropriate pieces by August 28; accepted artists will hear back by September 4. Contact April Knauber or Jingo M. de la Rosa for details.
