Life Church Expands as It Loses Membership
Published 2 months, 3 weeks ago
Description
We dig into the turmoil at Life Church in Noblesville, where Lt. Governor Micah Beckwith serves as campus pastor. Journalist Tom LoBianco of 24Sight News walks us through how the church went from three Sunday services down to one after a child sex abuse scandal involving lead pastor Nathan Peternell’s son, Jonathan, who is now serving time in New Castle. We talk about the Assemblies of God’s suspension of Nathan’s license, reports of explicit and disturbing sexual content in sermons and counseling, and why many former members say they feel betrayed and silenced.
