#57 What I Learned Working in 100+ Veterinary Hospitals
Description
Before launching my concierge holistic practice, I spent years working as a relief veterinarian in more than 100 veterinary hospitals across multiple states.
That experience gave me something I could never have learned by staying in one clinic: perspective.
In this episode, I share the biggest lessons I learned from working alongside hundreds of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff, and how those experiences shaped the way I practice medicine today.
This isn't an episode about what's "wrong" with veterinary medicine. It's about what I've come to appreciate, what I've learned, and why I believe the best care comes from combining excellent medicine with curiosity, education, collaboration, and individualized care.
Whether you're a longtime pet parent or new to veterinary care, I hope this episode helps you better understand the profession and encourages you to view your relationship with your veterinarian as a true partnership.
