Description
New figures show Clare has among the lowest number of GPs of any county in Ireland, while overcrowding at University Hospital Limerick continues to reach record levels.     Against that backdrop, Friends of Ennis Hospital has proposed a new Enhanced Urgent Care Centre pilot for Ennis, saying it could help deliver more care closer to home and ease pressure on the region's busiest hospital.     To discuss the proposal and the challenges facing healthcare in Clare, Alan Morrissey was joined by the Chair of Friends of Ennis Hospital, Angela Coll, and Lahinch GP and IMO GP Committee member, Dr Michael Kelleher.
