Description
The illustrated children's book Home Alone recounts the story of Kevin McCallister, a young boy who is accidentally left behind when his family departs for a holiday vacation. Initially, Kevin celebrates his independence by indulging in unrestricted fun, but his excitement turns to fear when two burglars target his house. Demonstrating great bravery and cleverness, he protects his residence by installing a series of elaborate booby traps to thwart the intruders. After receiving help from a misunderstood neighbor to finally capture the thieves, Kevin realizes he deeply misses his relatives.
