The Prescott Valley Police Department (PVPD) reminds drivers that local schools resume tomorrow, August 6, 2026. Please allow extra time to reach your destinations and be alert for pedestrians walking near roadways – especially in areas without sidewalks. Remember: it is always illegal to pass a school bus that is stopped with its stop sign extended.
Road safety is a shared responsibility. By driving carefully and staying aware, we can help our students start the school year safely and positively.
