Description
A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket booster from a 2015 launch is on a collision course with the moon, expected to impact at approximately 4:30pm Sydney time. The 13-metre tall, 4,000-kilogram piece of space debris is travelling at 8,700 kilometres per hour towards the lunar surface. NASA confirms there is no danger and plans to study the impact to learn more about the moon's composition.
