Raising a daughter can feel like the sweetest kind of time travel and the most intense kind of pressure. Watching a little girl sing her heart out, create, dance, and play can be healing, but it can also expose the parts of us that learned to quiet down. We talk about inner child healing, why patience and grace matter so much with “big feelings,” and how discipline starts to look different when the goal is emotional regulation with real boundaries. You’ll hear practical language we use at home, including the idea that kids can be mad while still learning to be respectful.

We also dig into modeling, because kids are watching everything: skincare routines, mirror moments, self talk, and the casual comments adults make about bodies and food. We share what we’re changing now to break cycles and build a foundation of self-esteem before the tough years hit. And with preschool around the corner, we talk through the nerves of trusting new adults, helping kids make friends, and using encouragement to grow bravery one small step at a time.
