כנס זה מתקיים לאחרי תקופת שהותכם ב"מחנה קיץ", שהתכלית שבזה בפשטות היא מנוחת וחיזוק הגוף, אבל הכוונה הפנימית שבזה היא שהשלימות בבריאות הגוף תוסיף שלימות בבריאות הנשמה. ומכיון שכן, הרי בשובכם מתקופת המנוחה ב"מחנות קיץ" עליכם להוסיף ביתר שאת וביתר עז בלימוד התורה וקיום המצוות וכו'. ההוראה משיעור חומש דיום הרביעי (שבו "נתלו המאורות") דפ' ראה: התוכן ד"ראה" הוא שכאו"א מישראל רואה שכל מה שיש להם וכל מה שיש בעולם אינו אלא מפני ש"אנכי נותן לפניכם"! – "שהכל נהי' בדברו"! וענין זה מודגש בשיעור חומש דיום הרביעי שמתחיל עם "בנים אתם לה' אלקיכם" – שכאו"א מישראל מתנהג באופן המתאים ל"בן מלך", שאוכל רק מאכלים כשרים (כהמשך השיעור) וכיו"ב. ועי"ז זוכים למ"ש בסיום הסדרה ש"יראה כל זכורך את פני ה' אלקיך במקום אשר יבחר" בביהמ"ק השלישי שיבנה במהרה בימינו וכו'.

This gathering is taking place after you have spent time in summer camp, whose simple purpose is for the body to relax and gain additional strength, but whose inner purpose is for the body’s health to impact the soul’s health. Accordingly, after camp, you should increase in Torah and mitzvos etc. The lesson from revi’i of parashas Re’eh is as follows: The theme of Re’eh (“See”) is that every Jew sees that everything he possesses, and everything in the world, exists only because Hashem “places it before you.” This is emphasized in today’s Chumash, which begins with the verse, “You are children of Hashem your G-d”: Every Jew must conduct himself as befitting a child of the King – eating only kosher food (as today’s Chumash goes on to describe) etc. In this way we merit the fulfillment of the verse at the end of the parashah, “All your males must appear before Hashem your G-d in the place that He will choose” – in the third Beis Hamikdash, which will be built speedily in our days.
