Too many men are completely bankrupt spiritually, physically, and financially, forcing their sons to look to the world and worship online influencers just to find an identity. But I need you to understand: words don’t raise boys—our living examples do.Recently, I was at the grocery store and watched men leaning on their shopping carts, completely glued to their screens. Their wives were grabbing all the groceries while their kids wandered around unsupervised. It triggered me because if you are so checked out that you aren't scanning your environment, protecting your family, or showing up, you are leaving them vulnerable.
In this episode, I am challenging you to stop outsourcing masculinity. Your son studies your discipline and watches your habits. He is slowly absorbing everything you embody. If you are living like a fat slob but telling him to get in shape, your words will never land. I am 50 years old, but I exercise every single day and stay disciplined in my finances so I can actively lead, protect, and ride side-by-sides with my boy. Stop being a weak, checked-out father.
