Committee Advances Todd Blanche In Spite of Him Being Referred for Fraud by a Federal Judge
Description
Hawk reiterates his contract-law argument from his prior videos. The two documents Blanche released to satisfy John Cornyn and Thom Tillis do not modify the underlying settlement, because its own terms require any change to be signed by all parties, and one document is unsigned while the other carries only Blanche's signature. In Hawk's reading, Trump could still sue to reestablish the roughly 1.78 billion dollar fund after confirmation.
He then answers Tillis's both-sides framing directly, pointing to Trump's 34 felony convictions, the civil fraud judgment, the Carroll verdict, the second Comey indictment, the attempted prosecutions of Letitia James and others, and the dismissed reflecting pool case. Hawk argues the record shows a Justice Department being reshaped to target the president's opponents, and he is candid about his alarm at what a confirmed Blanche means.
