Skylar Grey: Eminem, Rhianna & "Bubble Grunge"
Description
Singer-songwriter Skylar Grey — the voice and pen behind hits for Eminem and Rihanna — joins Buzz Knight on The Music History Podcast to talk about her new album WASTED POTENTIAL. Skylar Grey reflects on growing up in Wisconsin, coining her own genre she calls “bubble grunge,” and how stepping back into nature helped her reconnect with songwriting after a mental health reset. She opens up about self-worth, artistic integrity, and her recent collaboration with Motionless in White. A candid look at one of pop’s most influential unseen voices, finally stepping into her own spotlight.
Also from Buzz Knight Media Productions: Music Saved Me (Lynn Hoffman), Comedy Saved Me (Lynn Hoffman), Takin’ A Walk Nashville (Sarah Harralson).
