The Orlando Magic face mounting pressure to win as their payroll balloons. But everyone is counting them out too early. Both Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner face their own share of criticisms and areas to improve. But everyone seems to forget these are two All-Star-level players waiting for their breakthrough.
Banchero has received the brunt of the criticism. And his critics are generally in the area he must improve. But many of these arguments ignore the ways Banchero has already gotten better and even got better during a difficult season last year.
Wagner has dealt with injuries the last two years and has skated under the radar. But he too should be eager to prove some doubters wrong and the Magic should be looking to push him to the front more this upcoming season.
