Once a major employer of over 1,200 workers, the company built boilers for power plants, factories, and even Navy ships like the Battleship North Carolina. They also gave back to the community by donating land for a school playground in 1962. Now, as the site has seen multiple owners since closing in 1983, this nostalgic get-together is all about reconnecting, remembering the good old days, and covering your own meal.
