Dark Territory & the Guthrie Ransom Notes
Description
What do you do when the signals disappear?
Railroad crews call it dark territory—stretches of track with no signals, no dispatcher, and no easy answers. The train still moves. The rules simply change.
In this episode of Fortean Winds, RamX and Bones explain why they aren't walking away from difficult investigations, even as many prominent voices publicly question their own judgment and step back from the search.
The discussion then turns to the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie and the recently released ransom notes that have drawn national attention. Using forensic linguistics, evidentiary tiering, and behavioral analysis, RamX demonstrates how the same investigative framework developed for UAP research can be applied to a real criminal investigation.
This isn't about solving the case.
It's about showing how disciplined analysis works when certainty is impossible.
When the signals stop...
The method becomes the map.
