"80% The Same": John David Baker Just Told Us What This Offense Is
Description
Ole Miss Rebels solidify their offensive identity as coordinator John David Baker confirms the scheme will remain 80% unchanged, with tempo as its defining core. Can Baker’s experience and strategic adjustments elevate the Rebels’ explosive attack even further this season? Steven Willis spotlights Baker’s evolution, the impact of returning stars like Trinidad Chambliss, and intriguing parallels between newcomers and last year’s breakout performers.
Key questions fuel the fall camp watch list: Who secures the right tackle job? Which receiver will emerge alongside Deuce Alexander? Can Auburn transfer Jay Crawford anchor the secondary, and will the new linebacker duo of Luke Ferrelli and Keaton Thomas transform Ole Miss’s run defense? Plus, ESPN’s own experts and analytics models clash over the team’s ceiling, and the pressure mounts for Pete Golding to guide the Rebels to an SEC title. Is this the year Ole Miss breaks through, or does the toughest bar yet remain?
