Description
A bold, campy, and urgent queer musical, Acid’s Reign, explodes onto the Edinburgh Fringe with a drag supergroup formed in 2019 to fight climate change. Featuring powerhouse performances by Victoria Scone, Scarlett Harlett, and Gigi Zahir (who just toured with Chappell Roan), the show tackles the real dilemma of activism: stay true to your mission or compromise to stay relevant. With a live band, eleven original songs, and a 75-minute runtime, it’s equal parts glitter, grit, and gut-wrenching truth — a movement disguised as a musical. Content warnings for strobe lights and strong language. Running August 5–31 at Pleasance Courtyard.
