To celebrate the Australian Premiere of The Latcher at the Melbourne International Film Festival, I talked with director James Hunter and star Lucy Lovergrove about fusing elemental and crushing emotional realities, sharing a rarely seen side of Australia, and shooting a movie on weekends that felt like a school camp.
