Bald Head Bacon and a 59-Cent Pup Cup
Description
This week Rich walks through his brutal Jeep shock replacement — a five-minute job that turned into an eight-and-a-half hour fight with stripped lug nuts, a honeycombed shock mount, and a jack that sat on his porch because his pain level had hit a 10. Ron has his own expensive lesson after stacking his Jeep backwards at the monthly car meet, blowing out his power steering booster and stripping studs on his spacers. Bryan shares an update on Jana's hospitalization and the relief that she's finally getting the care she needs. From there the guys cover MTV turning 45, Bryan's tribute to No Agenda's John C. Dvorak, Rich's take on Al Jazeera's surprisingly even-handed reporting, Rich's story on a border-crossing phone search that ended in a GrapheneOS duress wipe, the FCC's Roomba ban, AI hype and Sam Altman wanting your money, Chinese knockoffs versus "Made in America," a school shooting sentencing, home defense philosophy, women in combat roles and the Space Force, and close it out arguing over McDonald's ice cream machines, Biscoff blizzards, and Lorna Doones.
