Description
What's In A Name
Halo cars are the very representation of the brand's core philosophies, ideals, and core competencies. These cars are a culmination of a brand-wide effort to bring together the best of everyone's expertise to create a car like no other. It becomes particularly challenging when you name said halo car after the very founder of the brand itself.
Ferrari did this with the Enzo, following the F50 and to usher in a new era of Supercars after the turn of the millennium. While it was a tall order to follow up the F50, Ferrari nailed it with the Enzo, which has become an instant crown jewel for the Italian automaker. The Enzo was made in limited numbers, but a very special specification is headed for auction.
Broad Arrow Auctions
One of Three
Just announced for Broad Arrow's The Quail Auction 2026 is a 2003 Ferrari Enzo, which is made even more special by the fact that it is just one of three spec'd in a Rosso cabin. This particular Enzo is also one of a dozen U.S. market Enzos painted in a truly menacing and stealthy Nero D.S. color. Chassis number ZFFCW56A130132652 also pairs that rare Rosso interior with Rosso gauges, Nero carpets, and XL-size racing seats, creating a very well-balanced black-and-red contrast across the whole car.
This rare color combination could prove to be the main selling point of this Enzo, which breaks the predominantly red Enzos that make up most of the car's population. In its life, this car has had only three lucky owners, racking up just over 13,000 miles, and has just received a Ferrari Classiche certification. It'll be the headlining model for this year's Quail Auction, which will be held on August 14. Broad Arrow lists the Ferrari Enzo to have an estimated sale price of $9 million to $11 million.
