Description
For our third summer in a row, we pack up our booth and spent a weekend at the Flathead Faerie Festival in Kalispell, Montana — Natalie doing mediumship and intuitive readings, Stephanie doing intuitive card readings and astrology. This year was hot, windy, and almost nothing about it part of a "normal" day for most as it wasn't an on-demand part of our day. And yet nobody we watched all weekend looked like they wanted to be anywhere else.
This week, we're asking what that says about the rest of our lives, and what we're all still willing to leave home, and our daily conveniences, for.
In this episode:
➩ Why the most convenient era in history has quietly changed what we expect from everything
➩ What it means that people will still stand in line, in the heat, for something they could order online in ninety seconds
➩ Why the story behind a handmade object can end up mattering more than the object itself
➩ How algorithms have made it harder to stumble onto something you weren't already looking for
➩ This week's astrology: Chiron stationing retrograde in Taurus, a Last Quarter Moon, Venus into Libra, Mercury clearing its shadow, and Sun trine Saturn
➩ A Soul Pillars walkthrough — Mind, Body, Heart, and Spirit questions to sit with this week
