Hey there! This is Mako, your host on Ore-tachi no Monogatari.

This episode, Ohma shares his ongoing, low-key obsession: capsule toys — gacha gacha 🎰

At this point it's fair to say they're a genuine pillar of Japanese culture. The sheer range and variety of what's out there is honestly kind of wild.

Mako and Ohma broke things down by category and compared notes on their preferences — and stumbled upon an unexpected overlap. Turns out these two have more in common than they thought 😏

That irresistible pull of not knowing what's inside, the moment before you turn the knob — you know exactly what that feels like, don't you?

Ore-tachi no Monogatari (#オレモノ) is the podcast where hosts Mako and Ohma bring their latest obsessions and favorite things and talk about them at length.

You don't need to know anything to enjoy it — but if you do, you'll enjoy it even more. That's the kind of show we're going for.
