Guest host Jai Vaughn led an uplifting edition of Get Up! Mornings with encouragement, faith, and major gospel news. One of the day’s most powerful moments came from Pastor Mike Jr.’s Fresh Word Friday message, where he compared a “premium anointing” to premium fuel, reminding listeners that higher callings often require different choices, growth, and relationships. Jai Vaughn built on that theme with a heartfelt reminder not to rush past God’s blessings, encouraging listeners to celebrate their victories and recognize how far they’ve come, even while pursuing new goals.

The show also spotlighted two major developments in faith and entertainment. Fans of The Chosen got an exciting update as Season 6 was announced for a November 15, 2026 debut on Prime Video, focusing on the final day before Jesus’ crucifixion, with a theatrical finale set for spring 2027. Meanwhile, gospel legend Marvin Sapp revealed a groundbreaking partnership with Roc Nation Distribution for his upcoming album Restoration, making it the company’s first full-length gospel release. The first single, “He’s Not Finished,” arrives August 21, continuing Sapp’s more than three-decade legacy of inspiring listeners through gospel music.
