Gen Z wants Jesus, but do they want the church?

Published 1 day, 5 hours ago
Description

Gen Z Christians are increasingly drawn to spiritual disciplines like silence, solitude, prayer, and Sabbath-keeping, yet that renewed interest has not produced a corresponding rise in church attendance. The trend raises an important question: Can we become disciples while pursuing spiritual formation largely on our own? Our experience during the pandemic reminded many of us that “meeting together” means far more than occupying the same room on Sunday morning. Today, we consider how worshipping together on Sundays and living out our faith together on Mondays are both vital to the life Christ intends for us.
