Today the show is broadcasting from Ferris State University as the Ferris State Bulldogs get prepared for the upcoming Football season starting next week. Throughout the show, we were joined by some of the great people connected to Ferris State Football so we could preview the season. We were also joined by some of our other great guests to talk about the Detroit Tigers, Michigan and Michigan State Athletics, and more. We kicked off the show talking with former Major Leaguer John Vander Wal. He and Huge talked about the news that broke this morning in regards to Max Clark being called up to the Tigers. They gave their thoughts on what this means for the Tigers, talked about if they think Skubal will be traded now, and more. We were then joined by Dan Hasty who is the voice of the West Michigan Whitecaps. He gave us his thoughts on what type of impact Max Clark will make, and more. We wrapped up the hour talking with Greg Heeres who is one of our Baseball insiders. He gave us his thoughts on Max Clark being called up, he told us how he can help you with succession planning, and more. In our second hour, we were joined by Ferris Football players Wyatt and Tarik Bower. They talked about what brought them to play Ferris Football for Tony Annese, talked about the other sports they've played that will help in their Football careers, talked about the Championship culture at Ferris State, looked ahead to the start of the season, and much more. We were then joined by Ferris State Football player Ben Przytula. He told us about his journey to Ferris State, talked about getting prepared for the season, told us about the standard the Bulldogs hold themselves to, and much more. In our final hour, Doug Skene from theWolverine.com joined us. He and Huge talked about the Warde Manuel/Sherrone Moore situation at Michigan, talked about Michigan Football and what they're looking for from the team this season, talked about their expectations for Whittingham, gave their thoughts on how Bryce Underwood will do this season, and more. We then played Bill's earlier conversation with Dan Hasty in regards to the Tigers calling up Max Clark. We wrapped up the show talking with Ferris State Football Head Coach Tony Annese. He learned yesterday that he'll be going into the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame, so he told us about his initial reaction to that. He also talked about who inspired him when he first began Coaching, talked about some of the sacrifices he's had to make to become a great Coach, and much more.
