In episode 150, I was joined by Justin Walker for a wide-ranging and lively conversation on banking, money creation, the City of London, the Bank for International Settlements, and the history and significance of the Bradbury Pound. We talked through Justin’s remarkable path into monetary reform, including his family links to the establishment, the phone call that pointed him towards ‘Bradbury’, and the thinkers and books that shaped his view of sovereign money. From there we ranged across the Bank of England, common law, 1688, the Green movement, the Club of Rome, localism, county identity, and why so much of modern politics looks like theatre rather than representation.

In the final hour, Monica Schaefer joined us from Canada to discuss the wider psychological and cultural war now being waged against ordinary people, including censorship, engineered dependency, language control, and the pressure being brought to bear on rural communities. Monica also gave an update on her brother Alfred’s imprisonment in Germany and where listeners can write to him. Along the way, Eric and I added the usual detours into history, humour, old machinery, monarchy, media deception, and the increasingly obvious gap between the world we’re told we live in and the one we can plainly see for ourselves.
