Plans for the development of a landbank providing eight serviced sites for new private homes in an East Clare village will be unveiled this evening. Clare County Council is holding an open public consultation event in Feakle Community Centre today from 6pm to 8pm. The development - which is the second of its kind in Clare - is funded by the Department of Housing's Ready to Build Scheme and will include a new service road with associated footpaths, public amenity open space and required site services. Maghera Fianna Fáil Councillor Pat Hayes has been telling Clare FM's Seán Lyons the project will serve people who've rarely been considered until now.
