Malaysia's producer prices rose 9.2% in June, the fastest in four years, while consumer inflation stayed at just 1.9%. That gap is being absorbed somewhere, and it's mostly landing on small and medium businesses. We ask whether the government's proposed Economic Security Framework can realistically help an average SME diversify its supply chain or if that's still a big-company story.
