This week is a lighter one — sourdough, a new car, and a full round of hot takes. Liv finally nailed her first chocolate chip sourdough loaf (proofing it overnight in the fridge instead of on the counter was the game-changer), and she's already planning her next bake for her husband: cheddar jalapeño. Rachel's thinking about getting into sourdough herself, so Liv's bringing her a starter next time.
Then Rach talks through her new Kia Carnival — what she calls "if an SUV and a van had an attractive kid" — and why she ended up choosing it over a Telluride once she realized there wasn't room for a double stroller. With baby #3 on the way and her husband already talking about a 4th, the extra space might be coming in handy sooner than planned.
The second half is a full hot takes round: traveling before marriage, long engagements, whether Costco is actually stressful, fancy water bottles, not needing to love your career, and (obviously) Crocs. Some of these they agree on completely. A few, they don't.
