God’s Provision in Our Poverty | Romans 8:26-27 | Pastor Brad Klassen
Description
Romans 8:26–27 reveals a remarkable provision God has made for His people as they live between justification and glorification. While believers have been declared righteous through Christ, they still experience weakness, suffering, and the ongoing effects of life in a fallen world. The Christian life is marked by longing for the glory that is yet to come.
This passage focuses on the ministry of the Holy Spirit in the midst of that weakness. We are reminded that our poverty is deeper than we often realise: we do not merely suffer, but frequently do not know how to pray as we ought. Yet God has not left His people to bear these burdens alone. The Spirit comes alongside believers, helps them in their weakness, and intercedes perfectly on their behalf according to the will of God.
This message offers comfort for weary saints, assurance for those perplexed by suffering, and confidence that God is actively at work bringing His people safely to glory.
