Transparency is being welcomed in the Government's response to the Covid Inquiry.
It's issued its response to the Covid Inquiry, accepting all recommendations to varying degrees.
The Government agrees information on key decisions during any future pandemic will be made public within five working days, which didn't happen with vaccinations.
Lawyer Matthew Hague, who fought against Covid vaccine mandates, told Andrew Dickens the biggest lesson we've learnt is governments will do what's politically expedient at the time.
He says action points like strengthening rule of law and protecting fundamental rights are positive changes.
