Lachlan Kennedy won silver in the 100 metres at the Commonwealth Games, ending Australia's 64-year wait for a medal in the event. He set a new national record with a time of 9.85 seconds, running in torrential rain in Glasgow. Kennedy was supported by his family, including parents Simon and Rachael, who travelled from Australia to watch him compete.
