Ja: 夏の盛り、白川郷の村はお盆祭りで活気に満ちていました。
En: In the height of summer, the village of Shirakawago was bustling with the Obon festival.
Ja: 山々に囲まれたこの村は、合掌造りの家が並び、灯籠の光が夜空を彩ります。
En: This village, surrounded by mountains, was lined with gassho-zukuri houses, and the lantern lights adorned the night sky.

En: During this time, a young historian named Satoshi found a family heirloom in the attic of an old house.
